First thing is first, this moisturiser is incredibly similar to Cerave PM in texture and feel. Despite calling itself a 'cream', this is definitely more of a lotion texture (as shown in the photo). So this will work for almost all skin types. I decided to purchase this because I've tried other iUnik products (like their snail serum) and the brand is a favourite of Hyram. iUnik products have incredible ingredients at an affordable price point and this moisturiser is no different. It's packed full of wonderful ingredients. Glycerin/hyaluronic acid (hydration), beta-glucan (calming oats), centella/niacinamide/aloe vera/licorice (calming down irritation). It feels soothing and hydrating upon application. One layer is sufficient for my combination skin but you may need a more occlusive layer for dryer skin. Overall this is a great, mild moisturiser and can be used both AM/PM. I'm so happy iUnik is now stocked on iHerb (as I'm sure all Hyram fans out there are too!). I had high hopes for this cream as ingredient list looks great, but was disappointed. The consistency is medium weight, but it feels on skin like it contains too much silicone. I did not find it particularly hydrating neither moisturizing. Good indicator is that after you have applied your moisturizer, you keep feeling like you need to apply more. It did make my skin feel soft, but would sit at the top layer of my skin like a film and not fully absorb. I expected something more hydrating considering the name of the product highlights Beta Glucan which is a humectant. As a night moisturizer it was even worse - somehow it managed to dry out my skin, to the extent that by the morning I had indentations/ deepened wrinkles under my eyes (I do not actually have any wrinkles at all) as if all hydration and moisture would have been sucked out of my skin during the night. I tried few more times, and each time it had the same effect. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I will use it up on my neck, hands, feet.
Y’all I have combination/ oily skin but dry in a way if that make sense.. I use the cerave for normal to oily skin.. and purito sunscreen, I wanted a bigger moisturizer that doesn’t clog and works great with my sunscreen.. I love it!! Worth the price I use to use the surge by Clinique so expensive for such little amount.. my face is soft and moisturized, it goes well under my make up with the sunscreen! I also do put Vaseline at night to help heal my skin. 10/10 really recommend. I thought the texture would be like the cetaphil moisturizer for oily skin, not at all, it’s thin and thick at the same time… doesn’t clog pores and great for skin lightening
Lightweight texture, easily applied, very subtle scent - almost unscented. Still nourishing for my normal to combination skin. I suppose, it is suitable for any skin type - you can variate according to season and skin concerns. For very oily skin maybe it is a great choice for winter/cold season only.
This face cream is amazing! Beta glucan is a must have for your face regimen if you use something drying like retinol! The huge benefit of it is that it's a humectant moisturizer. Its lightweight but very moisturizing at the same time. There is no scent which I like.
Very nice moisturizing cream. Consistently is lightweight while still being moisturizing. I like that it doesn’t have a scent that could irritate my sensitive skin. I use it under makeup and it works great. Quality is also good. I like this brand and use a few of their products.
Scent - No scent at all Use - I used this day and night, the ingredients do not contradict with any actives so it’s very flexible Quality - I feel like this is a dupe for Cliniques Moisture Surge moisturizer, it’s moisturizing, very hydrating. Texture - It feels like a gel cream and is not heavy at all. Sensitive - I think this would be suitable for even sensitive skin types because it’s so lightweight and makes the skin feel healthy. The size is also great but would love if it came in a 100ml or more bottle 😂 because it’s that good and I would definitely not need to find another moisturizer anymore, but I do like trying different products just for fun.
I’m in love with this brand💖 quality and size are so perfect for the price. I have oily acne prone sensitive skin and I tried many products but this the only one that doesn’t break me out during winter season. I use it 3 times a day and it’s not heavy and the texture is nice. I will buy again and again🫶🏻
First time purchasing & I am hooked. It just feels so nice & absorbs quickly. My skin has felt so soft & moisturized since I started using this. It has a medium consistency, not too thick or thin, & no scent. I feel like I will be able to use this cream in the summer too without it feeling heavy. Definitely a keeper in my routine.
This was the first time I have tried this brand. The scent is really nice and not overwhelming. The quality from first use has been mind-blowing. Instantly noticed a difference in my skin. We will see in time, however, I was that impressed I will be buying more of this brand. I have not had any sensitivity issues. The size is pretty good for the price. The ingredients have high benefits upon thorough research, when I have used this for a month I will come back and leave an updated review.
It is the second time I order since I use it daily. It has no scent and is so moisturising like a golly balm. Simple packaging and good size for it’s price. Amazing composition for the winter season especially when your skin needs extra moisture and a thinker texture. I have oily acne prone sensitive skin and had no concerns with this. Definitely a holy grail
I have dry skin so I use this cream in the winter time. There is no scent and it does not irritate my sensitive skin. I would recommend this product, and this brand in general, to anyone who wants to a good quality moisturizer for an affordable price. Nice silky texture to the cream as well.
